Entertainment Weekly's New Movie Classics

Kat at Sunshine & Lemonade and Shannon at Welcome to the Nut House are both doing this meme today. And since I love meme's AND movies, I'm joining right in!
Here's how to play:

Copy and paste this list.
If you’ve seen the movie, put the title in bold type.
Put an asterisk next to the movies you’ve seen and liked.
Pretty simple, huh?

Shawshank Redemption - It's a travesty that this was left off the list.
Forrest Gump - It's a bigger travesty that THIS was left off the list.
American Beauty - Great movie
The Ususal Suspects - This is a classic
Jurassic Park - Um, hello, does anyone at EW actually watch movies? Leaving this one off?
The Princess Bride - The BIGGEST TRAVESTY that this was left off the list!
Braveheart - I hated this movie. And refuse to watch it ever again. Hubby loves this movie.

Look...it's a trend! I think I am the only one on the planet that is not a fan of "Forest Gump." But whenever my kids are running...I do have this strange compulsion to yell "run, Forest, run!!" And now they have started doing it. :-)

Kat: I think FG falls into the category of either you love it or you don't. I love Tom Hanks, so that drives a bit of it for me. :-)

Marianne: Enjoy! I told ya, I find some great stuff that others do and I just imitate. :-)

Angela: I know you've got to have seen more of those movies than I. I can't believe they left off Top Gun too!

You've never seen Edward Scissorhands?? And I thought you were a Johnny Depp fan! :)

I have walked out of 2 movies in my life - one was Ready to Wear (Julia Roberts... BAD) and the other was Braveheart.

So while I am sitting here (now watching Jaws 2, for crying out loud) I'm going to keep leaving you comments. At least until my carpal tunnel kicks in again. Would you believe I've never seen the 2nd one all the way through?
