Monday Morning Eye Candy

*Thanks for visiting today! Make sure you visit here to get in on the super cool giveaway that I'm hosting. You don't want to miss out. We now return you to your regularly scheduled Angie's Spot programming.

It's Monday, so what time is it? Anyone? (Tap, tap...is this thing on?) Oh, THERE you are! Yep, it's Monday Morning Eye Candy! Today's batch of cuties is a blast from the past. It's guys that maybe aren't in their prime now, but once upon a time, I totally found them adorable! Enjoy and please let me know in your comments if you have any requests for upcoming weeks.

Christian Slater - Loved him in Heathers. Loved him in The Legend of Billie Jean. Loved him in Pump Up the Volume. We'll see how his new series on NBC this Fall fares. I'm cautiously optimistic.

Pierce Brosnan - He made me fall in love with James Bond. I refused to watch 007 movies until Goldeneye came out. Totally hot. I also dream fondly of his version of The Thomas Crown Affair.

Harrison Ford - This guy is a true classic. I totally see what Calista Flockhart sees in him, aesthetically anyway. And he's a daredevil. Flying his own helicoptors and such. I still haven't seen this last Indiana Jones, but only because it hasn't come out on DVD yet. I'm lazy.

Adrian Paul - You probably won't know this guy unless you watched the Highlander t.v. series. This guy is totally hot. I miss that show. I need to find it on DVD so I can enjoy the hotness once again.

Sean Bean - Ok, recent news shows that he has an anger management problem, but he's still good looking. Or at least he was several years ago. Loved him in Patriot Games (with Harrison Ford). Loved him in Goldeneye (with Pierce Brosnan). Hmm. I'm seeing a pattern here.

And that concludes this week's issue of MMEC. Hope you enjoyed it and will come back soon. And don't forget to leave me a comment with any cuties that you would like to see featured in upcoming weeks!

Love it! This brightens up an otherwise miserable morning. Love and hugs!

Um...
You referenced "Heathers." We are now BFFs for life. I have always loved that movie. "J.D." and his bomb obsession...and Drano...and corn-nuts. Whew!

I love all these guys--they're "real" men. Mature. Plus, Sean Bean was in LOTR so he gets a thousand cool points for that alone!

I am definitely with you on all of those guys! I love Adrian Paul and I do miss the Highlander series...... And I am a big Sean Bean fan- but he always plays a bad guy :(

Harrison Ford has been on my "list" since forever. Love him.

I, too, had a thing for Christian Slater around the time "Heathers" and Pump Up the Volume" came out. Now, not so much. He's ok... but no longer on my list.

Oh yeah... forgot to mention that Novak Djokovic won the bronze medal for mens tennis @ the Olympics! Woo hoo!!

Nice, you have some good timeless classics in this group. I mean, Harrison Ford is OLD now but still rockin' and sexy. Love it!

Thanks!

You know, I am digging Pierce again after seeing him in Mamma Mia!

You the question is, what does Harrison see in Calista? :-) And Pierce...in Mama Mia...was sooo much fun!

And wasn't Heathers one of the best movies? But Christian Slater is getting really rough around the edges... I also liked that cheesy Kevin Costner Robin Hood that he was in too.

Thanks Angie! *sigh*

Heathers, such a classic. But it's Adrian Paul that I find quite luscious, even though I never did watch Highlander (instead, I married a kilted Campbell.)

I always love a little Patrick Dempsey in the morning. Christian Bale isn't bad either!

Thanks for stopping by my blog last week on my SITS day! Hope you'll visit again soon!

I vividly remember and episode of Remington Steele where he and Laura are walking on the beach, and he has on faded Levi's, and a white shaker style (it was the 80's) sweater, and he's barefoot. oh my STARS that STILL makes me ga-ga and may be my all time favorite male moment right behind Jake Ryan's "Yeah You" in 16 Candles.

OMG, well it was either last night or the night before that Sixteen Candles was on and I watched the scene where Jake said 'yeah you' after the spaced out sister got married. LOL
Okay, back to the hotties....
My daughter LUVS Christian Slater, in everything, still. She's only 24 but has been ga ga for years!
Me, not so much.
BUT Pierce.... OH.MY.GOD
Well, you KNOW that I'm giving the Thomas Crown Affair movie out on my blog giveaway. I just watched it the other night...again... He's so hot. Actually though, Renee Russo was REALLY super super sexy in that.
OH I have to go watch it AGAIN.......
be back later.... ;)

Since I didn't come by on Monday, but today was to me Monday II (since sequels are usually worse then the original), I had to stop by and get my Eye Candy fix. You never disappoint. And I loved Highlander! How about the new Nick St. John on Moonlight? Just something about sexy vampires!

Wait wait wait, Christian Slater has a new tv series? How did I miss that (ok, other than watching only Tivo)? What is it? Does it look good? When will it be on?
