The Photography Conundrum

The are lots of serious issues going on in the world today.

The war in Iraq.

The state of our economy.

What I should dress my kids in for pictures on Friday.

Ok, so maybe the economic thing isn't THAT big of a deal, but this picture thing has got me losing sleep at night.

We have a portrait of the girls that hangs in our kitchen and I love it. It was taken 2 years ago and they're pictured with live rabbits and it's just 10 kinds of adorable. Well, the photographer sent me a lovely reminder postcard last week that said he was doing the portraits again. Crap. Seeing as how the girls talk about that picture EVERY.DAY.AT.BREAKFAST I thought it might be fun to take them for bunny pics again.

Now, the question is, do I dress them in blue jeans and cute pastel t-shirts for their romp with the bunnies or do I spend money on cutesy Spring dresses that will likely get little use after this pic is taken?

Help! Please weigh in: Casual Comfy or Classic Cutesy?

I'm all about comfort.

But that's just my opinion.

Casual. Bunnies say casual. And maybe barefoot.

Why didn't you take a picture of the picture...I wanna see the cute bunny picture...

I vote casual comfort:)

If you decide to go casual I would be more than happy to their names or monograms on some pink tees for them!! SERIOUSLY! You could just come by and pick your font and size, etc. We are doing the same bunny shots on Monday in the ridiculous strasburg dresses. Luckily I only had to buy one this year instead of two!

Apparently I'm the outlier. I'd go with the spring dresses... cute sundresses from Kohl's or TJ Maxx or something that they can wear at Easter and for birthday parties and other fun things. But I appear to be the only one on that train of thought ;)

Michelle's not the only one. I definitely go with sundresses too and maybe pretty bows or ribbons in their hair if they'll go for it. they can wear jeans any time!

But just my two cents :-)
