Random Tuesday Thoughts

randomtuesday

It's Tuesday...which means it's time for some random.

  • I went to the eye doctor last week. And for the first time, in 27 years of eye doctor appointments, I was told 2 things that are mind-boggling to me. First, my eyesight actually improved in the least year. HUH?!?! And to further creep me out, now both eyes have the same prescription. I think the doctor was high when he read my results because things just don't seem quite right now. Sigh.
  • The Dooney & Bourke Disney edition purse that I've been coveting for the last year is on sale...finally. Anyone want to loan me $200 so I can buy it? Anyone? Bueller?
  • Did anyone catch the first Arcade Fire performance on the Grammy's last Sunday? I found myself thinking "what the hell was that all about?" I believe that's what my grandfather would've referred to as noise. Wow, am I getting old or what?
  • Speaking of the Grammy's, I always delight in seeing who wins the "Best New Artist" category. However, this might be the first time EVER than an artist I've NEVER HEARD OF actually won. Esperanza who?
  • So, my contract with my cellular provider just ran out (praise be!) and I'm really having a hard time trying to decide who to switch to. I've been lusting after the iPhone for years, but I'm increasingly wary about it. I'm either going with Verizon or T-Mobile. Does anyone have any feedback on what phones they love and/or hate?

Didn't watch the Grammy's. Kinda forgot they were on. Oops.

I don't know anything about T-Mobile. You know I'm digging my Droid... and we've not had any real problems with Verizon.

I'll buy you the D&B purse, if you buy me this one from Coach:

Deal? ;)

I watched some of the Grammy's, and my thoughts were very similar to yours. Although I did think that Lady Gaga did a good job with her new song. Those "implanted" shoulder pads were kind of cool.

I've had Verizon for 2 years now, and can't complain. Good service, consistent pricing, and no trouble with our phones. Good luck!

My husband swears by Sprint and he has the new HTC EVO thing. I have always had ATT and while I won't switch, I kind of hate them. But if you're lusting after an iPhone but wanna go Verizon, I hear they limit your bandwidth if a lot of people are on it. So... yeah. Happy Tuesday!

Grammy's, oy. I'd have to have a clue about a world outside my playroom to follow along. You're one up on me there.

We've been with Verizon forever and are very happy.

Happy RTT!

I have been with ATT since way before, like when they were AT&T then they were Cingular and then AT&T bought Cingular out and they were AT&T again. So, no help there.

But, I would be lost without my iPhone. I use it to track everything related to my health, to my baby (there's an app for that ;-)), to my finances, my whole life is in that little rectangular piece of plastic and metal.

I'm with ya on the grammy's...who are these people???

And we're with Verizon...so much better then ATT, my upgrade is in March and I still can't decide what I'm going to switch to but leaning towards Blackberry...unsure of iphone also.

Thanks for reminding me I need to make an eye appt. - I've been putting it off for too long, and I bet I won't get good news like you did. Or maybe I should go to your high eye doctor and see if I do get good news... ;)

I've had T-Mobile for years because AT&T just didn't have signal where I needed it to. ;) I love my new Samsung Gravity-T phone that hubby got me for Christmas - sort of like a combination of a Blackberry and iPhone.

RTT: Valentine, Dino Claw, Improvements

Thank goodness! I thought I was the only one that didn't know those people. BTW, I really, really, REALLY hate Gaga's new song. Really.

I have a droid from Verizon and it rocks my socks. Having said that I got it before they started offering the iPhone. Next upgrade I will take a closer look at it.

I have to go to the eye doctor...my eyes are getting old...and tired...can't see anything.
I have T-Mobile and have never had any problems with them. However I'm probably the wrong person to ask. I have the cheap freebie and half the time I forget to charge it. :o/
