It's been an interesting week of entertainment. So, without further ado...
The T.V. Roundup
Spectacle: Elvis Costello - The Sundance Channel is fast becoming my new fave place to land. I've stumbled upon some great stuff here and this new show is one gem. This is an informal interview show hosted by Elvis Costello as he interviews other musical legends and jams with them. So far, I've only seen the premiere episode and it was with Elton John. And it was fantastic.
Run's House - This series is between seasons at the moment, but I've been catching reruns on MTV2. I've been a fan of RUN DMC for many years, but this show features Rev Run and his family and how they live. It's hilarious. I'm a "reality tv" junkie anyway, but I especially love seeing family dynamics of the wealthy. Call me crazy.
The Movie Roundup
Deception - I must admit than when I saw Hugh Jackman and Ewan McGregor as the leads in this, I didn't hesitate for one second to put it in my Netflix queue. A decision I quickly regretted within the first 10 minutes of viewing this movie. Please don't make the same mistake that I did. Save yourselves.
Disney Movie-palooza - In preparation for our trip, we've been watching some 2 & 4 yr old approved films from the Disney vaults. This week alone, we've seen Finding Nemo, Mary Poppins and Cinderella oodles of times. These 3 films are FABULOUS!
The Book Roundup
I'm re-reading Twilight because now that I've seen the movie, I need a refresher before I start New Moon. Oh, and I got a thrill last week when I found out that the new Jen Lancaster book is finally scheduled for release in May of next year. Woo hoo! The new title is Pretty in Plaid. Can't wait!
This week is going to be a very special one around here! I'm so honored to have 2 guests bloggers this week who are going to dazzle us with their hilarity and blogging brilliance. Come back for your weekly eye candy tomorrow and find out who our first guest is this week!
