Countdown to Christmas Giveaways - Day 3

"It's the most wonderful time of the year!"

I can just hear the smooth sounds of Andy Williams belting out this fabulous and appropriate song. As the season of craziness, hustle and bustle is upon us, Shannon, Jane & I wanted to take this opportunity to add some fun to your day! And we hope you will play along.

Each day this week, we will be hosting a giveaway on each of our blogs. The 3 items tie together somehow and a single winner will win all 3 items being given away that day. To be eligible to win all 3 items, you have to leave a comment on each of our 3 giveaway posts for the day.

Today, my featured item of the trio is one of my favorite items.

It's a set of 4 mega-containers of Wilton Sprinkles!

Now, here's how you enter today's giveaway.

1. Leave a comment on this post telling me "What, if any, kind of cookies do you leave for Santa?"

2. Head over to Shannon's Nut House and Jane's Jungle to see what else is in today's giveaway and make sure you leave a comment on each of their posts.

3. Cross your fingers and check your email in the next couple of days as we'll contact the winner by email. (So, make sure you've left a way for us to contact you from your comment)

Good luck and Happy Holidays!!

Oh my gosh, love those sprinkles!!!!

We've never left cookies out for santa, but if we did, it would probably be chocolate chip!

We leave Santa whatever cookies we baked for the season. Santa isn't picky. However, he doesn't like milk, so we leave him Egg Nog.

We always leave cookies but it changes from year to year. We try to keep with a Christmas theme sometimes they are sugar with sprinkles or if we are really busy it is just the pillsbury patterned sugar cookies.

I heart sprinkles. Especially the red ones. I know they don't taste different, but to me they do.

We leave Santa a variety of cookies, but always one chocolate chip. Those are his favorite, you know.

Spritz cookies. I make wreaths and Christmas trees every year so they are the perfect snack for Santa!

{When my sis & nephew lived with us we also left out reindeer food in the front yard. He got a kick out of that!}

Actually, in this country people don't leave cookies, they leave mince pies for Santa, and so do we. And of course, a carrot for the reindeer- you mustn't forget the reindeer!

No cookies for Santa . . . we've always been in the South where nasty bugs could crawl all over them etc..

My kids are grown so we don't leave cookies but when they were little we would leave him cake usually and sweet tea because he got tired of all that milk.

Yummmm! My favorite cookies growing up were ting a lings... my mom made them, and they were chocolate covered crispy chow mein noodles with nuts mixed in. I think some people call them haystacks. SO good!
