Spot's Sunday Entertainment Roundup

It's been a GREAT weekend! Details of my fabulous Saturday will be released (with photos) on Tuesday, but in the meantime, let's talk entertainment.

The Movie Roundup
It was a pretty busy week at the homestead and I didn't have a chance to check out 2 movies that I've got on my DVR. Next week, check out my reviews for 2 films.

The T.V. Roundup
Californication - This is yet another Showtime series that we've rented from Netflix. It stars David Duchovny as an oversexed writer who is trying to woo his ex-girlfriend (and baby mama) back into his life. Those who are easily offended by language and nudity should pass on this show. However, if you aren't easily offended, the writing is hilarious and the characters are very likeable. We've made it through half of Season 1 and enjoying it thoroughly!

The Book Roundup
I'm starting a new book this week on the recommendation of my buddy, Shannon. Expect my review on "Mrs. Kimble" by Jennifer Haigh next Sunday.

And a huge THANKS to Lula who gave me "If (Questions for the Game of Life)" by Evelyn McFarlane and James Saywell. I won her giveaway this week and was lucky enough to get my winnings in person yesterday, which was a major highlight of my day. It was WONDERFUL! Thanks Lula!

Well, that's it for today. Enjoy your Sunday everyone and tune in tomorrow for a special lineup of eye candy.

Hmmm...so with David Duchovny going into rehab for sex addiction...is it art that imitates life...or that life imitates art??

Californication is in my queue already...but I have to finish Weeds and The Tudors...

I'm glad you liked your FREE stuff. Wooooooo, I love free stuff.

We need to "play" the IF book next time we're all together.

Yeah, I said, "TOGETHER!" y'all. 'Cause me and Angie were together. Thisclose. For real.

Congrats on winning IF! I have one of those and it's such a fun book.

I'm so jealous about this get together. Like big time.

I've really been wondering about David Ducovny, was the addiction what got him the part in the first place Hmmmmmmmmmm.....

I took the plunge, check me out at Jumpin' In The Jungle

You are going to have to give me the low-downs on all the ins and outs of blogging. Remember I'm bloggy illiterate!!
