I swore that this year was going to be different.
That I would get the cards out on the 1st of December. (Didn't happen)
That we would get the tree up and decorated on the day after Thanksgiving. (Nope)
That the presents would be purchased and wrapped already. (Yeah, right)
So, let me get away from the holiday madness for a moment and remember some non-stressed times.
Big A's second Christmas. Those spoons and bowls survived until Little A came along. It's amazing how much destruction 2 little girls can heap upon toys.
Little A's 1st Christmas and the last Christmas we had with our original "kids", our dogs. Man, I miss those furballs.
And the Rock City Enchanted Garden of Lights. This display is my favorite one to visit every year. The gingerbread house looks good enough to eat!
Ah, I feel better already. Hope your holiday is a little less maddening today. And for more stress-free fun, check out Candid Carrie!

Love the one of little A's first with all the dogs. That is one you'll cherish!
We've never been to the enchanted lights but always wanted to, too much going on this time of year!
Don't beat yourself up... you've got a lot goin' on this month!
Maybe we can do the Enchanted Lights together this year!
Such cute pictures!! Christmas is my favorite.
Love the group pic!! I haven't done any of those things either--I'm in panic mode!!
Why is the most wonderful time of the year the most busiest time of the year?
Sigh...
I, for one, cannot wait to see your Christmas card. Because I KNOW I'm getting one. RIGHT???
I love the group pic -- everyone with their Santa hats. So cute! :)
Rock City...we were there New Year's I think...when I was pregnant with Madalyn. It was freakin' cold...and that waterfall there was frozen. But me and my pregnant self had a challenging time navigating some of those trails :-)
