I seriously can't believe that it's already been 7 days since my last entertainment roundup. That's how fast my week went. It was a lean week of entertainment because I was SWAMPED with work, but here's what I can report.
He's Just Not That Into You - I'm a little on the fence about this one. This was definitely an all-star cast, which I found to be a little distracting. I thought there were too many characters to really get invested in any of the storylines. There were some great scenes of dialogue and I think Ginnifer Goodwin is adorable! Great movie to listen to while you're blogging. LOL! (ETA: Now that I've had a week to absorb it, I think I actually enjoyed this movie more than I originally thought. It certainly gave me a lot to think about.)
Traitor - Don Cheadle is a great actor. And this movie had a lot of promise. However, it was just too long. I can't give a lot of synopsis here without giving away some serious plot points, but it's a decent movie.
A Lion Called Christian - This hour documentary has been on my DVR for at least a month. Hubby finally convinced me to watch it. I had been avoiding it because I knew it would make me cry. And like clockwork, within the first 2 minutes of the movie, tears were streaming down my face. Ridiculous. I've got a major soft spot for animals and this doc is the backstory on the YouTube video sensation about the lion who was reunited with the 2 guys that raised him. Great story and I recommend it along with a fresh box of Kleenex.
I'm working on 2 books right now and am hoping to finish both before next Tuesday. We'll see! Tune in next Tuesday to find out.

I love your Tuesday entertainment wrap-up!
I felt the same way about He's Just Not That Into You. At first I was kind of meh about it but after a few days of reflecting on it, I decided that I actually really liked it. Weird!
I haven't seen any of those. But I did finally watch "Benjamin Button" last night. Meh.
I am reading the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series right now...you should read those. And the Sookie Stackhouse series...
I saw the short youtube video of the lion called Christian, and was bawling my eyes out. Don't think I could manage a whole hour.
Thanks for the EE button. Got it on my blog already!
I haven't seen any of those. He's Just Not...has been on my list but I haven't gotten it yet. :(
We watched Madea goes to Jail & he watched Fired Up! but I fell asleep. :(
I did finish my first Jen Lancaster book - I LOVED IT! She's so funny...now, I just got to find the other ones.
Huh. I've heard of none of those. Were you the one who recommended Philippa Gregory? I can't remember who did but I feel like maybe you... regardless, I stayed up until after 2am this morning reading to finish the book of hers I had gotten from the library. :)
I want to see "He's Just Not..." and need to add it to our queue. We saw The Hangover last weekend - did I tell you? - and it was TOTALLY hilarious. MUST see in the theater. Too funny. Still laughing!!
Love ya!
Hated HJNTIY. Made me so happy I'm married and not playing those games.
Traitor was way too long. It was ok, but eh...
A Lion Called Christian...
well, thanks for making me cry again. I thought I'd gotten over it, but apparently not.
