I love movies. I can watch my favorites over and over again and not tire of them AT ALL. It drives hubby more than a little crazy.
This past weekend, I had the good fortune of catching one of my long time favorites on TV not once but twice! I believe hubby's response when he caught me watching it yesterday was "Oh, you're watching this AGAIN?" Are you really surprised dear?
This movie has got some GREAT lines. The writing is witty and dry and smart and I'll stop here before I completely lose you.
However, this scene is what makes this movie for me. And despite the fact that I've seen it42 a few times, I still cry EVERY SINGLE TIME I see this scene. Perfection.

I loved this movie too BUT I am unable to watch any movie TOO much. A few times, yes, and even once a year let's say. I think anything remotely emotional, including grocery store holiday commercials, illicit a tearful response out of me for sure. I am SO trying to give you a specific one though.
Dances with Wolves, Serendipity, all my Criminal Minds episodes involving children....
Ok, I stop now :)
LOVE this movie!! I especially love when Tom Hanks says something like we can get coffee or dinner and drinks for as long as we both shall live...sigh. :)
I can watch The Notebook, Serendipity, Love Actually and Titanic over and over and over again and each time they make me cry!
yeah, I so LOVE this movie. And Sleepless in Seattle too. Hanks and Ryan have such a chemistry together. I can honestly see the fire flow between them when they are acting together. It makes me feel good to watch these two movies. Over and over and over. We also like Stick It and Napoleon Dynamite. Just sayin'.
I love that film. Hilarious. Like when Greg Kinnear says to Meg Ryan about Birdy falling in love with Generalissimo Franco -- "They buy leather jackets for much more than they are worth but they don't fall in love with fascist dictators!" Love it.
I can watch movies over and again. PS I love you, Someone Like You, Devil Wears Prada and (don't laugh) Armageddon. Actually, there are many, many movies I can just watch repeatedly.
I love this film, too. One of my favorites was: The Notebook!
Blessings, andrea
The Way We Were. It gets me everytime. "She's beautiful, Hubble." Gah. I could cry just thinking about it. I have to say, though, that not many of the modern romances do much for me. I mean, I enjoy them, but they don't leave an indelible impression on me. I'm pretty sure I was born in the wrong era. Sigh.
I love movies...but there are very few that I could watch over and over. 50 First Dates is one of those :-) As far as the emotional part...it does not take much.
I cry way too easily.
If I'm in the mood for a tear jerker, Terms of Endearment gets me every time. That is my worst nightmare, dying before my kids are grown.
Sob.
I can watch movies, episodes of Lost and Glee and CSI, over and over again.
The movie that I can watch multiple times is "When Harry Met Sally". I just love it!
I think I've actually only seen that movie once. Hope Floats on the other hand... oh I could cry now just thinking about that movie! Or Man IN the Moon (with Reese Witherspoon). *sigh*
One of my favorite things about getting "old" is that at almost any moment on my cable TV, i can find SOME movie that I love... There are SO many that I'll sit and watch again.
As far as a tear jerker... if I want to cry I go grab a copy of the book "Thank You Mr. Falker"... THAT gets me every time.
It would be hard to chose just one since I basically cry over anything even remotely emotional.
Hormones. Ugh.
Movies that I love I can watch over and over and over and over and over again.
Infact, we have a good amount of channels on our Directv lineup but alot of the movies are reruns so if we see one listed that we've watched alot, we'll each try to guess which scene it is at and then click on the movie to see who was closer.
Dances With Wolves...
"I WILL find you!"
I cry every time.
Oh, and Love Actually.
I sob all throughout that one.
But the 3 movies I rewatch over and over, many times throughout the year...
*The Goonies
*Steel Magnolias
*Almost Famous
I'd watch Gone With the Wind more than once a year, too...if it weren't so long.
P.S. I Love You...Have you seen it?? Loved the book...Loved the movie!!! I think it's one of the best love stories ever!
